Allen | Class of 2010

Today I got to take some senior pictures for my awesome brother in law, Allen! It was a GORGEOUS day and we had so much fun. Allen is going to be a senior at Todd County Central High School in the fall, and we wanted to go ahead and take a round of photos to get the word out some at TCCHS. He plays football and baseball, and is pretty much just all around awesome. He cracks me up!

Summer, and therefore senior picture time, will be here before we know it! My approach to senior portrait photography is extremely laid back, and all about YOU. It is my goal to give you images that are unique and show off your personality. We have a ton of fun…you won’t have to suffer through any “tilt head…freeze…smile….*click*” shots with us!

But…enough of that. On to some pictures! These were all taken on the beautiful square in Elkton.

I swear this kid is always smiling. I love it!

Funny story about this picture. So we picked up Allen from baseball practice, and brought him clothes to change into for pictures. He comes out of the lockroom saying, “Hey! These match!” And I say, “Well…yeah? That’s kinda the point?” And he says “No good!” Maybe you had to be there…but it was funny. And apparently…he is well known around school for wearing very obviously not matching clothes haha. So this picture is in honor of his characteristic non matching outfits haha.

Baby Brennon | One month old

Busy shooting day, yay!

After freezing to death doing headshots for John D. haha, Chris and I headed out to Franklin, Ky., to take some pictures of our friends Charlie and Leigh Anne, and their baby Brennon! Brennon is just shy of one month old and I swear that he is the cutest baby I have ever seen haha. We had so much fun! Brennon was incredibly well behaved too Just so awesome! So here’s a few (haha!) favorites from today and a slideshow at the end! Don’t forget to turn up your sound

Emily Kay+Chris | Engaged!

Ahh! I love these two! Longest blog post ever, so be excited!

Ok. So today, I finally got to take Emily and Chris’s engagement pictures! Emily and I have both been ridiculously excited about this for awhile now haha. And, Emily is my most faithful blog commenter, so she deserves a massive blog post of her very own!

Emily and Chris are two of my closest friends. They are so wonderful and fun to be around! Their love is so apparent in everything they do, whether cuddling or teasing each other haha. I don’t even know what else to say about how wonderful they are. Emily and Chris, June will be here before you know it, and I can not wait! We’re so happy for you guys!

But enough of my late night ramblings…moving on to the pictures!

Charla+Jarrod | Engaged!

Hey everyone!

It’s been awhile, and I am thrilled to death to have finally gotten out to shoot again and have some new fabulous images to show you!

This evening, I got to do engagement pictures for Charla and Jarrod in Auburn, Ky. It was so fun, and the most gorgeous fall evening. Charla and Jarrod are getting married in November, and I’m super excited! These two are just so cute! (You may recognize Charla from pictures from her brother Seth’s wedding back in March!) Charla’s parent’s house and grandmother’s house made the perfect backdrop for our photoshoot this evening. I couldn’t have picked a prettier place!

But enough talking, on to the images!

School has been kicking my rear so far this semester, and I sincerely apologize for my lack of blog posts, and the length of time it’s been taking me to respond to emails I will be done with all my classes in January, and I can’t wait to be able to devote my full attention to every one of my clients! Meet Alicia!

Meet the fabulous Alicia Lacey! Alicia contacted to me to do some head shots for her because she is going to be competing in the Miss Ohio USA pageant! How flippin’ awesome is that?! She is so awesome, and I had a blast hanging out with her and hearing all about the pageant. Alicia is in her final semester here at WKU as a performing arts major. I’ve got to say that Alicia has one of the most gorgeous smiles I’ve ever seen, and I love her laugh!

So…here’s just a few favorites! Alicia, thanks for hanging out with me today it was a lot of fun! Hopefully we’ll get to work together again soon

Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Troy Puckett!

Yesterday, two of my wonderful friends, Megan and Troy, got married. And I am so incredibly blessed to have them in my life and especially to have been there to capture their wedding day. Megan and Troy live their lives for God in a way that I’ve seen in few others, and are such an inspiration. Their families and friends surrounded them in love and the day was just absolutely beautiful. Everything from the decorations to the ceremony was “them”…and therefore who they are in God. The ceremony and reception were at Richpond Baptist Church, and the gorgeous flowers were by Deemer’s Florist.

Megan and Troy-

Chris and I are so happy to have you both in our lives. You are such an inspiration to us, and we cannot wait as we go through our first year of marriage together. I am so excited to get to hang out with you all as we grow together! Congratulations and best of luck to both of you! Have a safe trip to Gatlinburg!

Courtney and Grant: Wedded Bliss!

Yesterday I had the amazing honor of being the photographer for Courtney and Grant’s beautiful wedding at the Milliken Community House in Elkton, Ky. It was such a beautiful day full of love, family, friends, and sunshine! Courtney and Grant are so sweet, and I had a blast getting to know their family and friends throughout the day! Everything was so well organized and relaxed so everyone could just enjoy the day, it was incredible.
