Elizabeth and Leila | Lizzie Loo Photography

Monday of this week I got to go visit my good friend Elizabeth Lauer of Lizzie Loo Photography in Shelbyville! She has the CUTEST photography studio ever in downtown Shelbyville! If you’re ever in the area, you should definitely stop by. The whole shop just exudes the Lizzie Loo brand, and it is fabulous. Liz has such a fantastic style :) Her window displays are to die for! And, her precious dog Leila can always be found sitting on her chair in the window! It’s always so wonderful to hang out with another photographer and bounce ideas off each other and refresh your creativity. Such a breath of fresh air! We also went out to shoot a little bit, it was so gorgeous outside!

Here are some of my favorites! I’m trying out one of the slideshow features today…I’d love to hear your opinion on which you prefer (each image posted individually, or a slideshow). From my stats, I don’t think many of my viewers are visiting from mobile devices, but I’m not sure!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of our 2009 clients, as well as previous and future clients! We hope you are having a wonderful day, and that you are blessed in the coming year. Thank you all for everything you all have done for us this year. We have the best job, with the best clients, ever!

We have one more wedding this year, with Katie and Aaron in Georgetown, Ky, and then we get to kick off 2010 with Michelle and Pedro in New Albany, IN on January 1! We can’t to see all the wonderful people we get to work with in the coming year :) Thank you all for your support and encouragement this year, you all are the best!

Lifestyle Photography | Meghan M. | Bowling Green, Ky

Awhile back I had the chance to do a super fun session in Bowling Green, Ky, with one of my dear friends, Meghan! We had an absolute blast :) I love lifestyle sessions, because it is just so fun to hang out with someone and get to know them and their personality and find a way to capture that in an image. Meghan has been focusing on getting healthy, and wanted a session to celebrate her milestones! She looks so incredible! Always beautiful of course…but I am so proud of her for sticking to her goals :) She is also planning on auditioning to work for Disney next year, which is so exciting! Meghan, I know you will be fabulous, and I can’t wait to see where God leads your life!

Lexington Mini Session Wrap Up!

I am afraid to even go back and look at how long it’s been since my last blog post! I am so sorry! I hope you all had an absolutely wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving, and enjoying gearing up for Christmas :) We have lots of fun stuff coming up this week on the blog, so hopefully that will make up for my neglect, dear readers!

First I wanted to share a few images from our mini-session day in Lexington! We had an absolutely incredible day out at Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate. The weather was perfect!

First up…my adorable parents! <3 them!!! I was super excited when my mom told me she wanted me to take some “real” pictures of them :)

Next we have Lauren, and the most adorable puppy ever, Dante! Lauren and I worked at Aldersgate Camp together a few years ago, and she is so sweet and so fun! She is now a nurse in Lexington. It made me so happy to see her again and hear about how she has made her dreams come true in the last few years :)

And finally, we have these three super fun kids! I absolutely LOVE this image…favorite of the season! This is Sam, Sarah, and Seth. I’ve known Sam and Sarah since they were born, which is so crazy to think about. Oh the babysitting stories I could tell….;-)

And that is all for today! Our Nashville mini session day had to be cancelled due to several extenuating circumstances, but we are hoping to reschedule some time in January. So keep an eye out for more info on that if you are interested!
