Ruturaaj+Jessica | Lexington Wedding Photography | Sneak Peek!

This weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph my first Indian wedding, with Ian Lozada Photography at the Embassy Suites in Lexington, Ky. Ian is fantastic, and I love getting to second shoot with him! This was such a cool experience for me…I really had no idea what to expect. It was such a beautiful celebration! Just a few shots for now, and maybe later on I will share some more with some explanations of some of the customs and such :) Enjoy!

Lydia | WKU Headshots | Sneak Peek!

Today I had a wonderful time shooting some headshot images with the lovely Lydia! Lydia is a junior at WKU and needed some headshots for her application for pharmacy school. How fun!

Isn’t she gorgeous?! I LOVE her eyes :) I always wished I had blue eyes haha

Bowling Green Mini-Session Wrap up!

We had a fantastic time this weekend with our Bowling Green mini-sessions! The turn out was small, but I greatly enjoyed the sessions we got to do!

First, we had the White family!

I LOVE this shot! So so so cute, and I was obsessed with their pink shirts!

So sweet :)

These girls are so fun! Emily is a vocal music ed major with Chris at WKU, and is just the sweetest person you will ever meet! I don’t know Katie very well, but from the time we spent in our session, she is super fun :)

Next, we had the fabulous Paige and Jason and their adorable poodle, Fenway

Are you kidding me with that cuteness? They are just as elegant in jeans as they were in wedding dress and tux :) LOVE them!

The Beauty of YOU | Boudoir Photography

The female body is such a gorgeous work of art. I have had the opportunity recently to do a few boudoir sessions (boudoir: n.  A woman’s private sitting room, dressing room, or bedroom) for some wonderful women, and I just absolutely love them! There is just something so special about capturing images of a woman for her Love…for his eyes only. These kinds of sessions also beautifully reinforce my favorite part of my job….showing the beauty of YOU as you are. Not how society says you should be, but showing that you are absolutely beautifully and wonderfully made. There is something liberating about embracing who you are and celebrating it.

These are just a few snippets of a recent shoot, posted with permission from the anonymous subject :) In the next few weeks, I will be posting some more images, as well as some reactions from the clients being photographed and those they gave the images to.
