Nashville {UN} Bridal | Kelly

Recently, I had the chance to get together with my cousin Kelly and new photography friend Abbie Rufener (who will be shooting with me on Tyler+Kati’s wedding on October 3!) for what was supposed to be a part bridal, part trash the dress shoot. Well, we show up and it’s pouring rain, but we didn’t let that stop us! So the day quickly became about thinking outside the box, pushing our personal limits, and getting soaking wet haha. Once I had a chance to through the images, I didn’t feel like my normal processing was quite right for most of the shots….so we pushed the limit on that too :) It is so great to be able to just go out and let it all go and push your creativity every once in awhile. It was a total breath of fresh air!

It was a ton of fun, and while these are a little different that what you’d usually see from us….we hope you enjoy! These are a few of my favorites.

This one is my favorite :) We just happened to find this awesome brick wall with “Blessed” written on it! Kelly was drenched, we were tired…but we are Blessed, and it was a great spot to finish our shoot :)

Have a wonderful afternoon everyone!

In Memory Of

I’ve been going back and forth with myself for nearly two weeks on whether or not to post this. I can’t seem to get it off my mind though, and wanted to share it with you. On September 11, 2009, Staff Sgt. Shane Angell was killed in a motorcycle wreck. You may remember Shane and his family from an Operation: Love Reunited post from last year.

The Angell family had such a beautiful love for one another, and I can’t even begin to imagine what Ashley and Skylie are going through. Shane was a wonderful, loving, caring father and husband…we could tell that and so much more just from the limited time we spent with them during that shoot. He had returned safely from two tours of duty in the Middle East. Ever since the day we heard the news, our hearts have just been broken for his family. I was so glad that I had been able to capture images of their time together for Ashley and Skylie to hold onto. There just aren’t really words.

Please be in prayer for continued healing, hope, and peace for his family. If you would like to send a card or donate to the fund that has been set up for Skylie’s college in Shane’s name, please feel free to email me at jenny@jennifercreed.com.

Ashley and Skylie-we love you, and are here if you need anything at all!

Meagan+Chris | Bowling Green Wedding Photography

Meagan and Chris were married in a beautiful wedding on August 1, 2009, in Bowling Green, Ky. These two are just the most adorable couple ever! Meagan is a preschool teacher, with all the patience that implies :) Chris used to be a kicker for Western Kentucky University’s football team! (And I’m just now figuring out that I never caught what he does now…oops!) They were surrounded with their friends on their wedding day, who were fabulously fun! Chris got to start out the day taking pictures of the guys playing golf, while I spent the morning with the bridesmaids, who were absolutely cracking me up!

Meagan and Chris were married at State Street United Methodist Church in downtown Bowling Green, with the reception at the gorgeous historic L&N Train Depot. Every detail was so lovely, and so them! We are so excited to share some of our favorites with you!

So fun!

Meagan found her beautiful wedding dress at Bridals of Regiss Park. I loved it! The best part of this shot was the look the church coordinator lady gave me ;-)

Meagan’s fabulous bouquet by Deemer Floral Co. in Bowling Green

So, we had the nice calm shot of the groomsmen. But after spending the day with them, I really felt like this was more appropriate ;-) They were too fun!

We <3 bubble exits!

After Meagan and Chris left the church, we headed over to WKU’s football field for a few shots! So fun!

Then it was back to downtown Bowling Green…love this one!

So precious! Their reception was such an incredible party!

That’s all for today! Congratulations, Meagan and Chris! We are so honored to have been able to capture your beautiful wedding day. We wish you all the best in your lives!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
