We’ve been Published! | Well Wed in New York

So today, I was on my way out of my neighborhood to get some lunch, and happened to stop at the mailbox. Well, it quickly became much more than an ordinary day! Inside were copies of Well Wed in New York and their sister publication Vermont Vows, which have a picture in them by none other than yours truly!

I was contacted a few months ago by one of their artistic staff about a picture I had done of a Vintage Magpie bouquet, from Kindal and Bo’s beautiful wedding! There is a feature in the Fall/Winter 2009 issue of Well Wed and Vermont Vows, called “Vintage Finds,” that has a ton of fabulous ideas to add a sophisticated vintage touch to your wedding. They had fallen in love with bouquets from the Vintage Magpie, and decided to use one of my pictures! Of course, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy and see my name in print :) So here’s some pictures! I’m so super excited!

Yay! We also have an exciting weekend ahead! Tomorrow is mine and Chris’s one year anniversary, and we will be celebrating by shooting Meagan and Chris’s wedding in Bowling Green! So excited!!!

And, I love my job :) I hope everyone is having a FABULOUS Friday!

Frankfort Wedding Photography | Mandy+Matt

Finally getting caught up on some blog posts! A few weeks ago, I posted a sneak peek from Mandy and Matt’s Frankfort wedding, and wanted to share a few more! Everything was perfect…beautiful weather, fantastic family and friends, and of course, one of the sweetest couples ever! The details were gorgeous…from the stunning navy and green color palette to the the tiny wire shamrock in Mandy’s bouquet, they were totally a photographer’s dream! And, could I have a few more exlamation points?! Ha. (Sorry about that. Waayyy too many hours on the computer today.)

Ok moving on…it’s all about the images and the love!

Mandy got personalized flip flops for all the girls. Hers say “I DO”…how cute is that?! The girls’ all had their initials on them. Loved it!

Looove her calla lily bouquet!

The guys had some time to kill after pictures, and Chris snapped this shot of them playing Uno. Cracked me up!

Mandy peeking out before the ceremony

So gorgeous!

This may be one of my all time favorites :)

Such a fun cake!

I love a good sparkler exit!

Mandy and Matt-we had such a wonderful time with you and your families, and are so glad we were there to capture your day! I hope everyone has a great week!

Isn’t that the coolest tie you’ve ever seen?! Emily and Chris got these ties for all the guys, I love them!

I love love LOVE this shot! They are sitting in Emily’s dad’s ‘61 (?) Corvette, which is gorgeous! Emily and Chris ordered a 2′x3′ canvas of a shot from this series that is so awesome! Can’t wait to show you how it looks on their wall!

Liz | Class of 2010

Meet Liz, who will be a senior at East Jessamine High School this fall! I have known Liz quite literally since before she was born haha. Her family lived up the street from us, and I was best friends with her older sister. Our moms were pregnant at the same time, and my brother Michael and Liz were born within a week of each other. I was jealous because Marianne got a girl baby…she was jealous because I got “my” baby first haha!

But now, she is grown up and gorgeous! She is a fabulously talented soccer player and basketball player, and is thinking about majoring in engineering in college. Fabulous :) Soooo many to share…but just one for now!

Ummm, gorgeous! Thanks for hanging out with us Liz, can’t wait to show you more!

Have a great week everyone!
