Evening of Praise

Tonight, Chris and I along with three members (and former members) of The Redshirts headed to Todd County Central High School for a benefit honoring someone very special. Six singing groups gathered together to honor a woman who is so wonderful and caring and who has always been there to lend a hand to anyone needing it. And, that woman is Chris’s wonderful grandmother, and my grandmother-in-law. :) It was so wonderful to see everyone gathering together to praise God and give thanks for all the blessings in our lives! It was such a beautiful experience, and I am just so blessed to be apart of such a loving family. So, I just wanted to share some pictures from the evening!

(My side note: I was having some weird camera issues tonight, and I just got a new monitor and the colors are freaking me out. If you notice something weird with the colors and can specifically say what don’t hesitate to email me!)

This is the group Mission of Love, from Elkton

And the Lamb Family

And you know these guys from the blog….The Redshirts! Love them :) The tall one is my husband :D

More Redshirts…

Rock it out, baby!

I can’t remember these guys names :( but they were wonderful! If someone knows, feel free to chime in :)

Same with these two! Yikes…long week, my brain is fried. So sorry!!!

And finally…the woman of the evening! Look how beautiful she is!

And their singing group, Spiritual Highway!

So, that may be one of the more brain-fried posts I’ve ever written, but seriously words can’t convey the blessing this evening was :) Mammaw, thanks for everything you do for us and for everyone, we love you!

Senior Photos | Not just for high schoolers!

Did you know that it’s only 80 days until undergraduate graduation ceremonies at WKU? Holy moly! I am so excited to finally be graduating from college, and so excited for all of my friends as well! It’s so cool to see how much we’ve all changed since entering as freshmen four years ago. Crazy.

So, why should high schoolers be the only ones who have awesome senior photos? I’ve already had a few wonderful ladies contact me about doing college senior photos for them to commemorate their time at WKU and celebrate moving on to the next chapter in their lives, and I think it is such a fabulous idea! We can do photos around campus or anywhere in the area, as well as including some professional headshots for you as you move into the world of job applications and careers. This is such an awesome time in our lives, and these photos will freeze that moment in time forever. Plus, let’s be honest, most of us are probably much less awkward than we were in our high school photos, haha!

Misty-being awesome and definitely not awkward!

Call me at 859.433.6855 or email me at jenny@jennifercreed.com to book your senior session or for more information! (In order to have photos ready for graduation announcements and such, I would suggest booking by April 1.) Can’t wait to hear from you!

Your Wedding | Color Combinations

I was browsing the internet today and came across this hot new color combination on TheKnot.com. I LOOOOOVE it! So fresh and modern and just beautiful! These are not typically colors I would gravitate towards, but for some reason these just really drew me in.

Loving it. Could totally see this as an awesome spring or summer palette! What are some of your favorite planning sites?

Dave and Jenny | Operation: Love Reunited

This morning I had a wonderful shoot for Dave and Jenny for Operation: Love Reunited. We were nervous that the rain was going to mess with our plans, but it held off until we were done! It was a little chilly but turned out wonderfully :) Dave will be deploying to Iraq soon, and I am so so so blessed and glad to have been able to take some pictures for Dave and Jenny that capture their joy and love to help them while they are apart!

So sweet! I absolutely love this organization and can’t say enough how happy I am to be able to give back a little to those who give up so much to protect our freedom. There are photographers who volunteer all over the country, so if you know someone who is deployed or deploying–please let them know about Operation: Love Reunited! Here is a link to my last OpLove shoot: The Angell Family, and some more info on Operation: Love Reunited.

And finally, a short slideshow! I hope everyone is having a cozy day out of the rain/snow!
