Jeffrey East | Live!

Tonight Chris and I and some friends went down to Nashville to hear our good friend Jeffrey East play his first show with a band! It was at the French Quarter Cafe, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Seriously. Jeff is so talented and it’s been so cool to see his career grow and listen to all the songs he writes. (You might remember Jeffrey from this pos t from the summer!) Check out his MySpace page to see some of his music! My favorite is “Waitin’”, I was super excited that he closed with that one haha. So I took a couple pictures just for fun, and thought I would share, enjoy!

So, that’s all for tonight! Hopefully we’ll see more of Jeff East on the blog in the future I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, and safe travels to anyone who may be traveling!

Charla+Jarrod | Married!

Yesterday was Charla and Jarrod’s beautiful wedding celebration in Auburn, Kentucky. Even though it was pretty chilly outside, everything was so wonderful! I’ve worked with Charla’s family before for her brother Seth’s wedding, and they are so loving and joyful and just the biggest blessing to be around. Jarrod’s family was wonderful as well! I don’t think I could have picked a better group of people to spend the day with I just can’t say enough how wonderful everyone was…family, bridesmaids, groomsmen, everyone just made me feel so welcome! But…I think I’m starting to ramble because I’m super tired at the moment haha so let’s move on to the photos!

The girls got their hair done at Salon 583 West in Russellville! It was an awesome, renovated old house with lots of homemade items for sale. Wonderful place to spend the morning!

Dori+Matt | Engaged!

So today was quite a blustery fall day, but I had an absolute blast shooting Dori and Matt’s engagement photos! (And, I’ve been waiting to use the word “blustery” all day haha. I’m a nerd!) I was super excited when Dori asked me about doing engagement photos, because we used to go to church camp at Aldersgate together. If I searched really hard through my old hard drives I could probably find a picture haha, but I’m kinda tired. So just take my word for it I had a wonderful time re-connecting with her and getting to know her fiance, Matt. Dori and Matt grew up together, and God grew their relationship into a friendship, then into a very special love that was especially evident today. I told them I love stories where people have known each other for awhile…I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like I feel like God just sits back and smiles and is like “Haha…all that time and you had no idea!” Ya know? Anyway. Too much time in the car for me today I’m going to shut up now haha. Here’s a couple favorites!
